Environmental Education Center
One of the primary components of Phase Two, the Environmental Education Learning Center will serve as a hands-on educational learning laboratory; it will incorporate a learning studio, a greenhouse, a barn, and essential spaces for farming equipment and food processing.
Cultivate Collective’s comprehensive sustainability initiatives, including its fossil fuel-free campus and the ability to generate all of its own energy needs through on-site solar — along with the extensive green space and orchards — will contribute to improved air quality in the neighborhood. The Environmental Education Learning Center will bring needed education and training on renewable energy.
The Environmental Learning Center will also serve as a hands-on educational learning laboratory for people of all ages, including field trips for children and educators from across the region. With a convenient location only 1.5 miles from Midway Airport, this center for innovation will be accessible and available for visitors both near and far.
